We cannot rent to anyone who has held a driving licence for less than six months. This applies to every customer, with no exceptions.
Yes. When you collect the car, please show us both your International Driving Permit and your passport. Bring both — we need to see them together.
Customers driving on an International Driving Permit are asked to pay by credit card as a rule.
We have a limited number of cars, so we cannot guarantee a specific model. You book a vehicle class, not an individual car.
That said, please tell us your preference when you book — we will do our best to match it.
No. Our opening hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and we do not hand over or take back cars outside those hours.
The only exception: if, on the day of your rental, your flight lands later than our closing time because of weather or an aircraft problem, we will still complete the pick-up for you.
We are sorry — pets are not allowed in our vehicles.
We are sorry — we do not have any adapted vehicles (welfare vehicles / hand-control vehicles) in our fleet.
By email or by phone. If you email us, include the rental date and time, your name and your contact details. Our staff will reply within 24 hours with an email confirming the change or the cancellation.
For a change or cancellation the day before your rental, or on the day itself, you must call us — do not use email.
Your driving licence. It is essential.
If you arrive without it, we cannot rent you the car — there are no exceptions to this, so please check before you leave your hotel.
Driving on an International Driving Permit? Bring your International Driving Permit and your passport.
Payment is made when you collect the car, and we accept credit cards only (the major card brands are accepted). We cannot accept cash. Please make sure you have a usable credit card with you.
If you return the car later than the agreed time, the additional charge must be settled in advance.
We are sorry — pick-up and return both take place at our shop only. We do not deliver cars or collect them from other locations.
We do run a free shuttle to and from our shop. See the shuttle service.
Please call us. If you cancel because your flight was cancelled, there is no cancellation fee.
When you collect the car we give you a short guide covering the main navigation controls and how to use them for typical destinations (the full manual is also in the car), and we walk you through the basics before you set off.
Please note: we cannot accept a late return caused by trouble with the navigation system.
No. There is no mileage limit and no extra charge for distance. Drive as far as you like within your rental period.
First, call the police and have them inspect the scene. Then call us, and we will talk through the situation and what happens next.
Always call the police, even for minor damage — insurance may not be paid without a police accident report.
Yes — one thing. Refill the fuel tank to full at a petrol station near our shop before you return the car, and bring the receipt.
You do not need to wash the car, change the oil, or do anything else.
If the car is not returned with a full tank, we charge for the missing fuel. We read the fuel gauge and place it in one of four bands — 3/4 or more, half or more, 1/4 or more, or less than 1/4 remaining — and calculate the charge from that band and the size of that vehicle's fuel tank.
Call us first.
If you are at risk of missing your flight, we can take the car back at the airport for a fee of ¥5,500 (tax included). When you call, we will look at the timing with you and advise.
If you will be later than our closing time, we ask you to return the car during opening hours the next day (an extension charge applies).
Please do not rush. Customers who hurry to make a return are the ones who have accidents — drive safely.
